The Program Start Events
The following actions can be defined for the CDMenuPro program start:
- Cover (mask) the entire desktop.
- Play Intro (an external, CDMenuPro-supported program) More information about Intro is available here...
- Display welcome screen (splash screen).
- Play background sound (repeating loop option).
- Start AVI video.
To define the program start events, select "Properties - Program Start Events" from the menu bar.

The start sequence:
The start events are carried out in the following sequence:
Instance 1: (it concerns the original Intro-Player)
- Intro
- AVI-Trailer
- Welcome screen (splash screen)
- Background Sound
- Menu Window
Instance 2: (it concerns a product differing from the Intro-Player)
- AVI-Trailer
- Background Sound
- Welcome screen (splash screen)
- Menu Window
- Intro
Tip:
You can, of course, use the Intro-Player as a slide show or presentation player and link it to a CDMenuPro button.
If you would like to do this, the button should be linked in the following way:
Document: (empty)
Application: Path\Intro.exe
Parameter: Path\itr-file

If CDMenuPro is purchased together with the CD, the trail version of the IntroCreator is also on the CD. Or, alternatively, you might want to download the latest version from the IntroCreator website: IntroCreator website
